Chris Stohr has been involved in his neighborhood and community and worked with volunteer organizations in Champaign County for more than 30 years. He is running for Champaign County Board District 10 to resolve problems facing Champaign County.

Chris’ vision for the future of Champaign County is to:
• Support programs that address root causes of inequity in education and employment that result in violence in our community,
• Promote sustainable economic growth especially new & small businesses;
• Promote high speed broadband expansion throughout Champaign County;
• Encourage use of mental and behavioral health services and drug and alcohol programs to reduce the number of people entering into the criminal justice system;
• Support public health and safety services;
• Reduce adult and youth incarceration through diversion;
• Support programs in jail and for Re-Entry of formerly incarcerated;
• Responsibly manage finances and maintain county facilities;
• Promote hiring/retaining of county employees at competitive wages and benefits, and
• Protect Mahomet Aquifer water quality and sustainable availability.
